Charlie is currently working as a creative developer at the New York Times in London where she's in charge of finding new interactive ways to display content. Prior to that, she was working as a software developer and consultant at ThoughtWorks in Sydney where she helped various businesses build better software. Passionate about creative technologies, she spends her spare time experimenting and prototyping ideas.

Daisy is currently working as a front-end developer at Stink Studios London, where she works on creating interactive websites for a wide range of clients. Originally from Sydney, she has also worked as a "Fiver" at Google's Creative Lab where she was part of a team experimenting with technology and creative ideas. Most of all, she is very passionate about design and all things interactive.

Christopher Murphy

A writer, speaker and designer based in Belfast, Christopher has founded a number of successful digital startups. A passionate educator and mentor to many young entrepreneurs, Christopher leads Interaction Design provision at The Belfast School of Art.

The author of numerous books, he is currently hard at work on Tiny Books, which publishes short, sharp books for creative entrepreneurs that explore the design of business and the business of design.

Heydon Pickering

Heydon Pickering is a utilitarian designer, writer and public speaker, the accessibility editor for Smashing Magazine, and a consultant working with the Paciello Group. He's interested in new and innovative ways to make the web an inclusive place. User research, systems thinking and plain old semantic HTML all play their part. When Heydon isn't writing, coding or illustrating, he does some mental health campaigning, experiments with sound design, and thrashes out doom metal riffs on his detuned SG copy.

Monika Piotrowicz

Monika Piotrowicz is a Director of UX at Shopify, a commerce platform that helps users sell online, on mobile, and in person. A front end developer by craft, Monika is passionate about using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build exceptional and inclusive UX. She is committed to helping teams collaborate more closely to make smarter decisions about product and technology. At Shopify, she's helped establish the Front End discipline and currently leads a team of designers, developers, researchers, and content strategists working on product and marketing initiatives.

Sara Soueidan

Sara Soueidan is a Lebanese freelance front-end web developer working with companies across the globe, building clean, responsive front-ends for Web sites and applications focused on accessibility, progressive enhancement and performance. She also runs workshops on front-end development and writes technical articles on her blog and for various big publications. Sara wrote the Codrops CSS Reference, co-authored the Smashing Book 5, and has been voted the Developer of the Year in the 2015 net awards.
